Hello to all from the Isle of Lewis

I’m Dave and, although I’m not a native, I’ve lived here for 14 years. I’m retired, although I’m busy with a variety of voluntary activities.

Previously, I was a Full Frame Canon user, but I switched to Micro Fourthirds about three years ago to reduce the load carried when out and about. I’m also really pleased I made that switch. My main interests are outdoors (Landscape and Coastal images) but, when the nights are long and the wind too strong, I also enjoy table top and still life photography.

Whilst I’ve been around other forums for several years, I have never posted much, I hope to be more involved here soon.

Like you I was/am a Canon user that has switched/added MFT to my arsenal primarily because of the weight
