Hi all, I am a total amateur photographer!! My OH has a Nikon D3000 which I occasionally have a little play with but have not bought my own camera yet.
So far I have only taken pics of OH using the Nikon and I like to play around with the manual focus. I'd love to have the kit to take pics of the sky at night, the moon and stars etc but I'm a long way from that.
I'm lurking around a couple of second hand camera websites and have seen a D60 for £209 which seems like the best deal so far. I want to stick with Nikon so we can share lenses and flashes (if anyone has any suggestions where I could look I'd love to hear them).
I'll post a couple of my pics and look forward to hearing what you guys have to say.
Looking forward to learning lots
claire
