Help: ‘cannot play back image’

Can someone help me please? I have used my canon 5dmk2 3 times and now I have downloaded my pictures from a brand new CF card which is a Kingston 16gb and some will not open up on DPP. On the camera it say’s ‘cannot play back image’ and when I download to the laptop it gives me a ‘decoding failed’. I would hate to think my walk to Pen Y Fan at 04:00 was in vain :annoyed: Any help would be appreciated. Paul

Try redownloading them again or get them straight out of your camera Via my Computer, Did you in-camera format the card before taking any shots on it?

Thanks Dave, i did format via the camera and also tried to download straight from the camera. Will try again via the card reader.
