Help choosing a gps equipped compact.

I am looking for a good gps enabled compact camera as a present for a family member who is off travelling.
Image quality must be excellent ( for a compact) and a long zoom would also be an advantage. Top contender at the moment is a Nikon Coolpix S9700, although I am aware the IQ may be little soft.
Are there any alternatives out there that you can recommend? I feel like I have spent hours looking and don't really seem much further forward.....

Panasonic TZ60? Shoots RAW and has an electronic viewfinder which though basic, is so useful in bright light when the panels can be difficult to see.
 
Looks a nice camera, thank. I was in Currys today buying a new printer and saw one there, although, even 10 minutes after they had opened, the batteries in all the cameras they had on display were flat and no one there had any knowledge of how to charge or change them!
I'll have to research it and read some reviews

maybe a stupid question but like most RAW files i take it lightroom etc are compatible?
 
It looks light support for the TZ60 appeared in version 5.4. It's on 5.6 now

Personally I used a Canon Powershot 260HS and found it to be very good, reasonable flexibility with modes but unfortunately no RAW. 20X optical and Gps though, I think the new model may have better features
