Help...Could this be a Windows problem?

Just general help....
Do you have local admin rights ? If not try running it as the admin.
Try running it under a different account.
Have a look through the event logs?
START - RUN - eventvwr

Thank you, I have looked in eventvwr.

What am I looking for and what do I do if I find or don't find it :shrug:

Extreme computer novice.
 
Look in the applications folder in event viewer. Look for event at about the time you have the problems. Usually they will be errors.
Look in the system folder as well. Basically anything around that time that may give you a clue.
