Hi there going to buy another lens at a budget price but need help deciding which is better. Its for a Sony A300

1st lens

Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD Macro

The APO version of the Sigma lens you listed is highly rated and many people say it's worth the extra money:

Tamron make all Sony's lenses, so I don't think there will be a lot of difference between the Tamron and Sony lenses you listed, but I've been wrong before (plenty of times!) :nuts:

I've never used it but I've seen it many times that people rate the APO version very highly for the money. If it was my money, that's the lens I'd be buying!
