Help. emptied the trash by mistake!

:bonk: Ok, I know I'm stupid :bonk: but I emptied the trash on my iMac by mistake. I didn't do secure empty just the normal one. Can anyone recommend some software to get it back?

I think it's windows only.

It may be possible to undelete but it's not easy as the more you use your mac since the delete, the less chance there is of recovery (a unix thing).

2nd edit - It might be worth buying an external hard drive and setting up time machine on it.
