hello, I am new to all this and I have just taken delivery of a set of extention tubes. Boy I was so excited I couldnt wait to try them out. I have just fitted them and I cannot seem to get them to work. The camera keeps telling me to check that the lens is fitted correctly. I did my research before purchasing the tubes and it clearly lists that they are compatable with the G1. I also know that they are fitted correctly. I must point out that the tubes are the manual focus type and only cost me £5 inc free delivery from Honk Kong (ebay) :lol: Any assistance with this problem would be gratefully recieved. Try Custom Menu 5 -> Shoot W/O Lens
 
Hi Andrew and thanks for your reply.
I have only got 3 settings in custom mode. I have had a look in all three but cannot find anywhere that relates to shoot w/o lens.
 
Hi again Andrew, I have found it.:clap:I was clearly looking in the wrong place. Many thanks it it now working. I knew joining this forum was a good idea and its down to knowledgable people like yourselves that really make it work for me. Thanks again. CHEERS:)
