HELP: Firewire Reader

Just got my Lexar Pro Firewire 800 Reader. Plugged it in, when I pop a CF card in the Blue LED comes on solid after a blink or two. But I cant see the CF card in Windows.

Any ideas?

The Firewire card shows in System, but not the reader. I am using Windows 7 Pro.

First time I have tried it. The PCI-E card has USB2 on it too, and that works.
 
Been having a search on a few windows 7 forum pages as we had an issue at work wanting to test some hardware with 7 and no luck I am afraid. I guess it is a drivers issue and because the OS is not 'released' yet lexar/windows wont support until then. Bog standard practice to release the OS for testing as a light version without lots of peripheral support.

Only other reason could be a format problem with the card making the system able to see it and not read it.

You could use another comp to copy them across? Sorry couldn't be more helpful!
