Ive been noticing pictures like this recently

4046459710_e189c261e7.jpg

0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/5.0
Focal Length: 200 mm

4049170993_4655916859_o.jpg

Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 200 mm

See the background, it seems like it has diagonal lines across it ?
Here is another example:

4049171169_cee45f3229_o.jpg

Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 200 mm

It does always seem to be at the longest end - is this normal or do i have a problem ??
Ive also just noticed that in the last 2 pictures the lines go in opposite directions - how very strange?????

linky person had same problem. Check out the April 16th post that has the 100-400 with same effect - apparently is may be due to either IS being turned on and a double reflection of sunlight from your filter, or a dodgy filter.

Try shooting without one then the other and see how you get on.

I think it could be your filter too, as suggested earlier try a few shots without it. Hope that works for ya.
