Have a search for a post by Bassjunkie_83 (I think) as he's written a cracking tutorial on club photography.

The bassjunkie post is good. I've done a little bit of this and as a basis I would set the camera up as following; A @ F4, T @ 1/4, 1st curtain sync, ISO800, and then adjust the ISO / shutter to suit.

A few tips- try and get as close as possible (and go wide) as the air is poluted (smokey), and polluted air creates dull images. Try and get shots of interesting things (club logos etc). Have the punters with their backs to the stages and lights as it adds more atmosphere. And finally USE A UV FILTER. Someone will try and grab your camera.

Night clubs are not fun if you are anything like me. I can't imagine how much they'd have to offer me to go through that carnage. It is a potentially hazardous place for equipment (beer, sugary drinks, drunk people, hard floor)
