Hi folks.
Worked on shooting a gymnastics competition today.
Took along my lowly Canon 40d and Sigma 2.8 lens.
Once I sat down ready to go, I realised that I needed a pretty high ISO to get the speeds I wanted. As we were selling these images, I didn't want to crank the ISO up too high.
As a result, used my mate's Nikon D300s - which produced nice noise free images at ISO 1250 - not sure my 40D would do this ? (Correct me if I'm wrong!!!).
So my question, what's my obvious upgrade choice to a noise free high ISO Canon ???
PS - please don't turn this into a Nikon -v- Canon debate . It was a pleasure to use the D300S, but all my kit is Canon and I have no intention of changing!!!
Cheers
