HELP - low res photos ?

Hey all.
I was asked to email some of mine photos in low resolution just to be checked and if they will accept them they will ask to buy them from me in high res...

My questions is : what do they mean by low resolution 640*480 ? or lower??
I could ask them but it wouldn't look good

I'd say 640x480 is pretty low res, but I'd still probably protect that with a watermark.
You could drop to 480x320, but unless they're looking at them on an iPhone it'd probably look awful!

As long as they can see the pictures at an acceptable level of detail for a preview and they don't take ages to download that resolution will be fine.

will resize them to 640 and put big but transparent watermark on them.
