Help me choose my dads Chrimbo pressie!

Hi folks.

looking to get my dad a compact for Christmas.

Nothing with too many functions, they'll only confuse him!!

Just looking to get a decent compact that will take a nice pic.

Budget of about £100 - £150.

Not bought a compact for ages (my G9 was the last 'small' camera I bought), so not too sure what's decent these days.

A disabled friend of mine has the Fuji F80EXR and finds it not only easy to use but that it also produces cracking photo's.
In fact the macro shots of bugs she takes with it are shockingly good.

It also has a nice big 3" screen..

Anyone know much of the Panasonic Lumix F3 ?

cheap at Argos at the mo - looks basic enough and meant to produce a decent enough image.

Anyone had any experience of it ?

Thats a pretty impressive piece of kit . . . for what it is and where it seems to sit in the market
