Help me decide where to go for 4 weeks!

Hi

I have 4 weeks in January to go ... somewhere.

Although the trip is all for pleasure, somewhere great for photography is very high up on the list so thought this would be the place to get advice from.

I want to go somewhere far afield as I won't be getting 4 weeks off regularly.

Being January I was thinking maybe Egypt or around south east asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia)

Please let me know your suggestions or knowledge of these places!

we stayed the same hotel as Dean Travellers beach in Kenya as a base but we also stayed at 2 safari lodges as well

Torn between Kenya and Thialand

Both seem to be incredible places, I'd love Thialand for the scenery but I Love wildlife.

Ho Hum couldn't afford either let alone get 4 weeks off work.

Maybe if I win the lottery.

hi i have just got back on the 24 dec costa-rica absolutly fantastic it has everything. wildlife senery and the people are very nice and it is now their summer can't wait to get back took 4000 photos carnt wait to see them

New Zealand... my sister lives there & it's an awesome place.

South Africa - mix of culture, beach, safari, vinyards and stunning looking mountain areas.

Iceland or Norway to start with for Aurora Borealis, then move down to the Alps for skiing etc.

Somewhere you are not going to have to have innoculations for weeks in advance

New Zealand... South Island - tho it's summer over there right now so... it is so super stunning there, Milford Sound - gorgeous, the Mountains - beautiful.


Canadian Rockies would be a little chilly and very snowy and probably quite impassable, as would Colorado...

if you like cold weather tho - Alaska, Yellowstone National Park (brrrrrrrrr at -40), Glacier National Park - all in the USA - but VERY VERY cold.

Peru...

India...

Thailand...

Kenya! KENYA!!!!!!

Cuba... be careful - a lot of S.America you need to be careful too.
