Yes
... containing mainly 80's pop type music that is happy and would be great to drive to. Slippage into early 90's and late 70's is allowed as long as the joyful head nodding sing a long theme is maintained. No strict rules apply.

I think the EU recently passed a law saying there has to be some Michael Jackson on there. In which case, I'd suggest Smooth Criminal. Actually if you want to flex the dates a bit then I'd go for the Alien Ant Farm cover of it.

I'll name some artists because I like various songs from each one.

Men at work - Down Under
Toto
Kenny Loggins
Blondie
Mungo Jerry
Dire Straits
Tears for Fears
Ocean Colour Scene
Europe
Boston

Yeh...I could be here all day with my oldies playlists

Happy House- Siouxsie and the banshees
London calling - The Clash

Born to run - Springsteen
Wild Wild Life - Talking Heads
Together In Electric Dreams - Phil Oakey and Georgio wotsit

And just for fun
Love Missile F1-11 - Sigue Sigue Sputnik :D

how about that one about happy holidays ( i think )
Terry Jacks SEASONS IN THE SUN

If you want sing along, how about:

Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Relax
Survivor - Eye of the tiger
Adam Ant - Stand and deliver

how about that one about happy holidays ( i think )
Terry Jacks SEASONS IN THE SUN

I thought it was about dying! And it was early 70s. Still a good singalong though :)

Oh and do it properly. Set it up on Spotify and then publish it for us all to enjoy :)

I think to do it properly it's going to need to be on a C240 cassette with no Dolby and a Ronco or K-Tel sticker on the front.

I'll add Plastic Bertrand and Ca Plane Pour Moi to the mix.

If we're talking about driving songs and Talking Heads are in the mix then you're got to have "Road to nowhere"

talking heads psycho killer/van halen jump/guns n roses sweet child o mine/yazoo nobody's diary/the cars drive/bugles video killed a radio star/ boston more than a feeling/free all rite now

You want something doing right......

TP 80s drive

Note:
1. I limited it to one song by each artist. I think.
2. Where people just gave an artist I either picked my favourite track, one that would fit or just skipped them.
3. I dropped a couple of songs either because they didn't fit the list, because they were from 1958 or because they encouraged drink driving ;)
