Thats a bridge camera, the lens is not interchangeable.

The only way you'll get an SLR for that price is secondhand.

A fish eye lens is going to cost three times (or more) than that camera.

youll need a DSLR, (Digital Single Lens Reflex) unless you want to shoot with film then get an SLR as said above

if your lucky youll be able to pick up a canon 400D or 30D for a bit more than that price, but as said lens cost more than than that

I have a great kit for sale in the classifieds if you are interested. It doesn't have a fish eye lens but would be great to get you started, sure we could work out a deal.

The fish eye lens will be quite expensive and you may find it a bit restrictive in terms of general photography...

Coming from someone who has just 'upgraded' from the predecessor, what are you trying to achieve, and more specifically, why a fish eye? It's a great and quite flexible bridge but SLR is a whole new ballgame.

Chill man, he was trying to help. The cheapest set-up you could get would be around £200 for a 2nd hand DSLR with kit lens to get you started. The cheapest proper fisheye lens is the Samyang 8mm which runs at about £150-180 second hand. You need to weigh up if the investment for the fisheye would be worth the amount of times you will use it.

There are a lot of cameras with a built in fisheye mode now, The S95 has so Im assuming most other canon bridge cameras do.

From what I've seen of these fish-eye modes it's just some sort of in-camera image distortion to give the appearance that you get with a fish-eye lens. What it doesn't give you, however, is the huge viewing angle that you get with a real fish-eye lens.

What Canon (and maybe others) do can just as well be done in post processing.
