I've still go what must be ancient now , a 17-85 Canon Kit Lens , Still has it's uses , however after a long time in the kit-bag , i've gotten it back out and found that the focus ring , has gone sticky/tacky where the rubber has aged. Does anyone know how to replace these? It feels like it should come off, but i don't want to force it if i'm wrong!
