Help Needed Canon 550d

Hi there,
My 550d is showing some problem on the live view but not on the viewfinder. But the same problem will show up on the image or video taken.

Got this camera in 2009... This problem has been going on for about a year. Didnt have enough time to get it sent to canon...

I'm still very curios on what has happened there

No, menus showing ok. It only show up like that during live view mode. Even the pics and videos taken will be in that way.

The problem is likely with the sensor in your camera. That is used to record the photos, and is also used to capture the image for live view.

You'll need to contact a service centre

550D wasnt released in 2009 (?).
And yes it's the sensor as its appearing on images and video.

Hope you haven't tried to touch/clean the sensor as those look like grease marks

I very much doubt cleaning the sensor did that.
