Hi All - I'm looking for a bit of advice for a favour I've been asked to do for my girlfriends sisters wedding. They have asked me as an amateur photographer to do some wedding photo's during the day, although not the formal stuff which they don't really want. I will have to wander around for the day taking photo's with the view to process them in black and white.
The problem I have, is that I have never done any people photography as yet, just landscapes and macro stuff as is on my Flickr site :

I have Canon 50D and 17-70mm f2.8 Sigma zoom lens - is this going to be suitable?
Would my 10-20mm F4 be better?
What sort of pitfalls should I look out for?
I would appreciate any help at all as I'm nervous about cocking things up!
Cheers for looking
Gareth
