Guys,
I have a Nikon D3s and have had no issues uploading my pictures to my iMac until today.
Before I went out on a photo shoot today I was playing with the menu on my D3s and saw the format card option, so like a %$%$#$# idiot I decided I needed to do that as I had no pictures on the card anyway. Anyway when I got home my iMac couldn't see my SD card and after lots of messing around I managed to get my pictures onto a PC, but I want to be able to have my iMac see the card......what can I do????

I know nowt about iMac, but if you can use it to format the card you could try that. Your camera may use a file format that is not recognised by the iMac.
However, there may be the risk that if you format the card with the iMac the camera may not recognise the card.

I had a similar problem when i bought my 1d mk2 it needed a firmware update to recognise the card, i don`t know it you have a similar problem

Sure it's not the iMac that's the problem?..i.e that it's a coincidence that the fault occured at the same time...try another card (that you didn't format) if you have one...if not ask a friend to borrow one...if not try a cheap SD card reader that plugs into the USB....just eliminate the possibilties is all I'm suggesting.

Failing that look at this link (don't hold me responsible though if you do it though!!) Look at bottom of page 1...then read onto page 2)

Neil.

IT must be the card as when I put the second card into the reader it pops up straight away on the desk top............will take the card back to the shop where I got it and try and get a replacement as it is only 6 months old (its a Scan Disc Pro)
