Help- Nikon Lenses

I have the following lenses that overlap on focal lengths etc. Which one is the better one to use as a general walkabout lens on my D90?

Nikkor 28-200 f3.5-5.6 af d

Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3D

I actually prefer the Sigma but only want to keep one of them?

Keep the one you prefer then. Why ask?

The Nikon will probably hold its value better, so you'll lose less on that one too.

Personally I would sell both and get a better quality standard zoom, then worry about the longer end with a seperate lens.

I had the lenses as general everyday lenses but what you describe may be the way forward. What would you look at? Something around 24-70?

The Nikon one here as well.

The 24-70mm,on a D90 is going to give you about an 38-112mm,not to bad if you dont need a very wide lens.

Their also the 17-55mm as well
