Morning all,
when I powered up this morning, there were two pop up boxes came up once windows had loaded. ( Windows 7)
Both said they could not find .dll files in the AppData/local directory. I Googled the file names and got no result ..which is odd!
They are: ocofipuluk.dll and nlfataco.dll
Does anyone have any idea about these, what prog is calling for them?
I'm on latest editions of everything and fully virus protected.

Pop_ups asking for unknown file names sounds like a virus or trojan.
Strange that the names are not recognised in google.
personally I would run a full virus scan after cleaning out the internet caches, does your virus software check for trojans and malware?

hi Paul, Its got full McAffee as supplied by BT. Been on it for years with no problems ever. I'm off out to do a 128 person Regimental photo in a short while so going to do a full scan while I'm on the job.
It is strange not being on Google though.
I'll report back if I find anything.

I used to have Macafee on my laptop, I had a couple of trojans it didn't stop, I now use Microsoft security essentials, surprisingly good, I am also on Windows 7.
best of luck and fingers crossed it comes to nothing, hope you have a great time with the photo shoot.

You could try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Finds most things, including those missed by the likes of McAffee & Norton & it's free.

The only reference to either of those dll files on google is in this thread, how's that for weird!

Hi Neil,
just that - no folder within the "local". It says it can't load the "module" as it can't find the file.
They thing that foxes me more is it's not on Google!! If it was malware/virus etc - I cannot be the only infected computer on the planet, and there would be a reference of some kind on there. Weird
