I'm getting a nice collection of bags. This time, it would be nice to find 'the one' (yeah right!) :D

Needs to hold:

- Two bodies
- 70-200
- 24-70
- 35
- 50
- 85
- 105
- 2 x SB-900

And all the usual gubbins, cards, batteries etc. :)

Currently considering the Tamrac Ultra Pro 13.

Being able to be hand luggage would also be a huge bonus.

Any recommendations? Fast access to gear is preferable! ThinkTank offer some cool stuff too...

Thanks
Ross

Tenba range are worth looking at, I have used them for 30 years, trouble is only one UK stockist Teamwork Digital.

Shoulder or rucksack style?

You need to see my new bag. 3 bodies (D3, Mamiya RB67, S5Pro)...

D3 Lenses:
24 to 70 2.8
50mm f1.4
85 1.4
70 to 200 (stands VERTICALLY in the bag! :) )

It takes the D3 with ANY of the lenses attached, without upsetting the other contents.

Mamiya lenses:
180, 90 and 50mm. Extension tube too.

Mamiya backs, takes 3 PLUS a polaroid back.

The S5 Pro fits nicely.

Light Meter, Lee Filter kit both hard and soft, plus massive hood.

Literally (I kid you not) about 50 boxes of film.

Still has room for I would guess 6 lenses, and it comes with a free daysack which integrates with the main bag, two side bags which will take 2 lenses each with protective wraps)...

Holds the tripod and makes it look small :D

Check out the Super Trekker AW II. It is an AWESOME bag, but if you fill it - be warned, it will break you.

I lugged the entire thing around the Highlands, full to the brim. Kept me fit! :D

Paid £450 including delivery. Keep your other bags, I have bought 6 now - and they are all useful for when you wanna travel light.

Gary.

If you fall over with that on, can you get up without help or are you stranded there like a tortoise upside down?

Gary thats not a bag, thats a camping trailer :D

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Andy: will be heading off there on Saturday :)

Psifox: Originally shoulder, but open to all suggestions :)

Martyn: will Google it - thanks

neil_g: don't think that's big enough, thanks though

Gary: Just checked that out on Google and seen a video. My goodness, it's huge! Your legs must be huge with all that gear, trekking through the wilderness :)

Trekking? Haha. I dump it in the van, and drag my sorry arse 200 metres before giving up :D Seriously though, I reckon I could climb a munro with it.

Just you seem to want to carry a lot of kit, it WILL do the trick.

Gary.

Haha :D

It's more for taking on-location (portraits, weddings), rather than walking, so will remain in the car most of the time.

But, I will be taking gear on a walking holiday next year, so need to think about that too. Ah! :)

Lowepro Stealth reporter 650aw, really good shoulder bag and holds loads

I've got the 650AW shoulder bag and if you pop over tonight you can borrow mine for an extended test drive. I'm on holiday all next week and will be using my computrekker instead.

However I think it could be a tight fit for what you want to carry. Lowepro Commercial may be a better bet.

Very kind of you Andy - thanks. I think though, you've hit the spot with the Lowerpro Commercial - will check that out tomorrow :)

If you're mostly on location then the only bag you could ever want is the ThinkTank Airport international.. beautifully made, will fit in the overhead and is much much better than a rucksack for location work... Linky

Getty issue them to their sports togs, which I reckon is a fair recommendation.
