Help opening raw files

Had my first try at shooting in raw yesterday,now that i`ve uploaded them i dont seem to be able to view the thumbnails, some jpeg images i shot are ok.
Can anyone advise where i am going wrong :shrug:

You need to be using some software that can read the CR2 files that Canon produces. If you have the original disc that came with the camera there is Canons DPP that will open them.

Photoshop supports CR2 as well.

Use digital photo professional to open the files. It will have been on one of the disks that come with your camera!
