Has anyone got an old Arca/swiss plate that they could loan me please?

I`m looking at getting a long lens head designed and need one to let my friendly engineer type bloke have a look at it.

It will be returned ASAP.

Also, as I have never used one of these plates for any period of time,are they all the same width no matter what the length is? I.E. will they all fit the same mount on the heads?
