Help Please!

Hi all,
not sure this is the appropriate section so feel free to move it mods

My gf's cat passed away the other day and im wanting to put this picture in a frame for her but for the life of my I cant lighten his face up, not too much but just enough to even the photo out..... I have other pictures but I know she is really fond of this and it would make her smile

I would be so grateful if some kind soul would spend a few minutes having a go at sorting the levels out for me! I can send the original .NEF file by email.

Sorry to be so cheeky but it would mean the world to her if I get it framed for her

I've done my best but even in the RAW file there is very little if any detail in the face. I've managed to bring the eyes out a bit more but there is so much noise in the fur of the face that it's impossible to bring it out.

I've e-mailed you the larger version of this for what it's worth.
