I might be getting extremely paranoid about dust in lenses but ill ask anyway 
Bought a new lens (as above) from Amazon, direct - not a reseller. Upon inspection just now to an artificial light source ive noticed that theres a dark speck or bright line ending with a blob inside of the lens depending on how viewed. It is longitudinal in shape ie. if viewed direct its arrow shaped/dot shaped. If viewed from an angle it is actually a very consistent bright line (refracting light perhaps?) that runs right down the length of the lens ie. from the lens mount end to the filter end and is clear/transparent in colour. Ive noticed another bright speck like this (however no dark blob at the end of this one) in the lens that is consistently round and very fine in shape also running from front to back, if viewing the lens at an angle. Cant seem to easily get pics of these at the angle showing it stretching from front to back but will upload a few that might show what i mean.
Perhaps its glue from construction? They are quite near the edge of the lens barrel and it seems that i probably wont notice it unless i have a full frame camera - if at all...
Could people with the 50 f1.4 pls have a look at theirs looking through the lens at say a flourecent tube or spot lamp at all angles to see if its just the way the lens is made?
