Help to view a histogram (Nikon )

Im trying to get the histogram feature to come up on my Nikon D50. I know i can do it on CS3 etc. The camera has this feature but cant see to view it.I go to the pic and bring it full screen on the camera body and then hit the up part of the toggle button but it doesnt seem to work.I may had switched the function off but cant find it anywhere. I have checked the user manual and i seem to be doing tings correstly..Anyone shed some light on this.
 
from what i remember you are doing it correct, although its more than one push of the button, as you cycle through other screens first.

hi your doing it wrong press the iso key several times til you get individual pics scroll left and right to look though til you come to the one you want then up and down on the arrow keys ive got a d50 and im looking at the histogram as we speak or ring me as per pm and i'll explain
