1, 6 and 9 are the only ones I'd consider putting on show, mate. 10, if it was a bit sharper. :)

I think my post-processing lets down the images...

any ideas?

Learn how to sharpen properly. I use lab sharpening on a separate layer then mask out the areas I don't want sharpened. You have complete control that way. The amount of sharpening depends on your file size, but I generally sharpen once on the 16bit tiff file after exporting with all sharpening removed from Lightroom, then again at a much reduced level on the reduced jpeg for web output. It's a little different for print.

As for general pp, well, that's just a case of less is more...most of the time.

But the this is, I didn't sharpen them. I didn't realise it would do anything. Il try that in the future :) Im using photoshop, so there are a few things on there I think!

You didn't sharpen them? Sorry, Jamie, how are you considering doing this for a living if you don't know to sharpen your images, mate? I don't mean to be harsh, but this is basic post production.

1 is good, but whats happened with eyes? have you recoloured them?

3 is also good, in a standup comedian type of way!

3, 6, 10 I'd pick out of those.

Definitely #6, very good composition/framing and she is stunning.

10 could probably do with a bit more sharpening. She blends into the BG a bit IMHO.

3 is a good shot too, very natural.

8 could be a good shot but I think it's lost a lot of it's appeal by converting to B&W, maybe tone it down a bit when converting?

6 and 9 for me.. it's almost as if the others where taken by another photographer..
