I've never printed any of my shots yet, so any help appreciated
I've got the pics edited using picasa and saved to hard drive. I bought a memory stick to put them on to take to printers
How the #*** do I get them onto memory stick ? :bang:
Please feel free to keep it as basic as you like

There must be an easy way to do this, and I'm under pressure as my darlin just bought some frames for my creations and even has a spot picked for them, bless her, but i'm just not ready yet

Right. I'll do that.

How do I do that?

I'm assuming its easy, just never used a stick or external drive before, and I'm hoping my computer skills are coming across as, er, basic :-)

Going to the basics...to put all the pictures in a the USB drive.

Go to the folder where the images are ...if you want all of them press the 'CTRL' KEY and the 'A' KEY together will select every image in that folder...if you only want selected ones hold the CTRL KEY down and left click on each image that you want.
Each click should make each image file blue in colour.....release the CTRL KEY and A KEY.....right click on one of the images...scroll down the white box and you will see copy....click on copy.

Now to navigate to the USB drive....go to the start menu (bottom left) if on windows XP...or the circle windows logo if on windows 7....click to open...you will see it says 'my computer'....left click on it....now assuming that you have already plugged the USB drive into the USB port....you should see that it lists the USB drive.....right click on the USB drive....scroll down to paste....click paste.

This will put all the images selected on to the USB drive....to check they are there just simply double left click on the USB stick from the My Computer section that you are already in...it should open and you images will be displayed.

Hope it helps...yes there are different ways of doing it but that was the easiest way to explain the time!

Thanks very much
Think i've got that, and think they're on the stick
Will let you know how this goes tomorrow at some point
Heres hoping

I got the prints done yesterday in asda, not too impressed
Now i need to find out how you size a pic for printing, so nothings cut out / off
How do we crop shots to photo size?

Plan B.. choose a photo print size that doesn't need cropping. If you have a 3:2 aspect ratio sensor, stick with 6x4 prints to start with.

If you choose a print size with an aspect ratio different from that of your starting image you will need to crop to that ratio.
