Help with my grip and battery level?

Hello. I just bought a Meike grip for my Sony A200 and tried it out tonight.

When I put my original battery in with the one that came with it this is what my camera LCD display showed...

Does this mean it is showing one battery or both of them? Should I expect the display to show the levels of both?

I was hoping the camera display would show both battery levels. Should it?

I have bought a second genuine battery but am still waiting on that to be delivered.

If it makes any difference when I put the new battery in my camera (without the grip) it shows the level as normal as 100% same as the original.

With my Meike grip on my 550D it shows 1 battery level and when that discharges it automatically switches to the other battery and shows as full power again. I don't know if this is the same with the Sony version, but it might be worth using it for a while until the battery level drops and see what happens.

I had a different make grip (can't remember what it was) with my 5D2 and although it only showed one level in the menu screen when I checked the battery info they were both depleting at a similar rate.
