Sorry but I'm sure you get bored of this posts.

Please can you help with my web-site

www.darrencoleshill.co.uk

Feel free to be as harsh as you like. I want it to be as near perfect as possible. I don't plan to people hiring me from it but people can buy prints etc from it if they wish.

Many thanks in advance.

the header is very 1991, and needs improving
there isnt really much of a site to comment on. in the main screens are landscape, so your opening images could do with being landscape not portrait

the word usage implies youth and inexperience "i got into photography in..."

no one is interested in what camera you have, they are interested in the photo's you are showing

blog and news serves no one

CSS ssue with positioning of input fields in contact form#

so - lots to do I am afraid

Thank you for taking the time to have a look and respond.

I take all your points on board and will have a play round with it.

Very simple and easy to navigate through but all of the comments mentioned by Richard I have to agree with.
If you are going to have a blog it needs to be updated VERY frequently with useful info and pictures to show you are busy and a professional.
I dont like the header it's too big and takes up a lot of the page which means a lot of scrolling is required.

By changing some of the things mentioned in this thread you can easily have yourself a fantastic website.

Thanks, do you think the site would look better if the background was white? I have considered taking the blog down completely

in your gallery section make the images that show different sections the same size.....its easier on the eye

agree with other comments also......

I think the background choice is dependant on your photographic style personally. For things such as gig and fashion photography I think black suits better, for portraits or weddings I think mid-tone grey or white work well.

I've altered quite a few things now, so if you get the chance please take a look.
I've change it to a white background and think it looks a lot better
