Help with step up ring please

I currently have two nikon lenses which are 52mm but I'm looking to buy a wide angle lens with a much larger diameter, so I'm thinking of buying adaptor/step up rings (is there a difference?) to a standard 77m so I can buy a filter set that'll work with all my lenses.

Is there much difference in the quality of these rings and what would people recommend?
