Help with teleconverter compatibility Nikon 80-200

Hi all
Advice needed with my new lens
I recently bought a twin ring Af zoom-nikkor ed80-200 f2.8d lens and i'm looking to use it with a 2x teleconverter but can't find any resource of compatibility on the net
Anyone shed any light on which one to get or have one for sale?, kenko pro300?, Nikon?
 
Kenko pro works fine but have to say your better off with a x1.4 as the x2 takes so much IQ away from your shots.
i believe the MKI and MKII Nikon TC's will work fine too, but again image quality on a x2 on a zoom gives very poor results.
