Help with Tripod

Hi Folks,
I am in need of a relatively decent tripod that is not going to cost me (a poor student) a fortune, does anyone have any recommendations, I haven't quite reach the stage where I can look at the classifieds yet . I need something that will hold a Canon 6D and will allow me to go do some street and landscapes without giving me camera shake?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

A rough idea of your budget would probably help people suggest something suitable. Is it up to £20, £50, £80 or £100 for instance? Also, do you need something lightweight or is it not that important as the landscapes you'll be doing are close to where you'll park, etc.?

Keep an eye on eBay for reputable brands. I bought a velbon carbon tripod for £70 last autumn.

I own one and it is very sturdy and great value for money, albeit at the top end of your budget.
