Help with viewing

Hi, I have just bought a panasonic lumix dmc FZ18 and have loaded up the software onto the computer. My problem is it won't show any photos that I have taken in RAW.
I am a total novice at this so please can someone explain why the raw photos arn't showing Have I missed something?

You need to load them into the panasonic raw software and convert them to jpg. I think it's called silkypix.
 
aha, thank you I have only been looking at them in simple viewer. Reading the instructions would probably explain all but I am just way to eager to play.

Now I can see the pictures how can I put the picture onto here?

Just need to find out how edit it so that it can stay zoomed in. (did that make sense?)
 
Well done you. you need to use the crop tool to cut the part image of the image you want but save as a new image or you will overwrite your original. Welcome to TP to :wave:
