Can someone please help me!!

I have been out shooting this evening

All photos were visible on my camera when looking back at them

Upon putting the memory card into me reader I opened up the SD Card

Cut and then Pasted the DCIM folder to my desktop

It took a few seconds to move the folder (which I found odd after taking over 100 pictures in RAW?)

After opening the folder there is nothing in there :(

There is also nothing left on the memory card when I open it again?!

Upon right clicking and selecting properties for the card I can see that it says there is 1.25GB of used space (but nothing on the memory card)

Any ideas on where these are and how I can view/get them?

Any help much appreciated

Have you got a sandisk rescue disk at all,or do you know of someoenm who has if not pm me and I will send you one to borrow even thouhg you use a nikon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never cut & paste - always use a transfer program - Nikon Transfer in my case...I can add additional file info to the RAW files as they are moved across, as opposed to being saved as separate files...

Not that it should make any difference... it sounds more like a 'puta glitch than a camera problem - hopefully some tech geek will be here shortly to sort you out ...
