i have a canon 450d
would a standard canon 18 55 lens be good for a full body shot and also i need a image to be printed out for a 1600mm x 600mm poster.

help would be well appreciated

the bigger you print the less dpi you need posters you can get easy from your camera as you say its a poster not a photograph remember you view it from a different distance

yes that should be fine, ive heard people using the 450d and kit lens printing up to a1 size

I had an A0 print made - (450D Kit 18-55) just to see ! very happy with the result

and I'm a fussy bu99er !
