just put a cf card in my nikon d300. it says card full when it is not as just formatted it.know when i put a new card in the camera wont work and says card full i no its not as new card ..help please..

Did you format the card in the camera?
If not try that.

try checking it with a card reader on computer. If anything on there then delete it and then format in camera. Only an idea but there could be something on the card!

With the card in the PC reader Rt click on the appropriate drive and select Properties. What figures do you get for Used Space, Free Space and Capacity?

Have you tried a different card in the camera? Hopefully just a card issue not the body.

What happens if you review the cards data in camera, is it showing any pics?

If all ease fails, take the all the batteries out, you should have two, Canon has the 2nd in the main battery compartment, leave out for ten mins replace and give it another shot.
