have a flash gun and have no idea how to use it and need to learn ... i have looked i am just thick.

Terri the make of flash gun would be good, first off is it new and for your camera, as some flashes arent compatible and will frazzle your camera if you unsure dont put it on

yep its compatible, put it on your cam and you will be able to control it through the camera flash settings, or if you want to go manual set your cam flash to manual and use the flash unit for manual adjustments
