Hi:wave:
i am thinking:thinking: of changing my 450D. or getting a better lens. I shot mainly sports (motor track days, or Swimming) the later is causing problems due to low light:thinking:

The iso on the 450D is not too good and a 2.8 lens is very expensive. I have a 70-300 5.6 is usm lens however I am looking for some help, my budget is a little limited so I am asking which would be better going for a 2.8 sigma? as lomg a lens as possible for the sports or look to trade in the 450D(not sure what I would get for it) and go for a 650D or a 60D.

could anyone cast a little light on which way you cleaver people would look at this situation:thumbs:

Well the 650D or 60D will be an improvement over your 450D but not significantly for indoor sports. Unfortunately action photography under low light / indoor conditions are very challenging. Not only do you need good ISO capabilities and a good autofocus system, you also need fast lenses and a minimum requirement would be f2.8 and primes rather than zooms.
