Not really no. You got a crappy monitor? Cheap 6bit panels will cause this. LR will also be using the full bit depth, and this is clearly an 8bit JPEG. Was it processed in lightroom, or in Photoshop? If in photoshop, you were working in 16bit, yes?
You say it's fine in LR, but crap on your monitor... well.. aren't you using the same monitor to look at lightroom?
Banding is nearly always a bit depth issue. I can't see any here though as it appears in this forum, so it may be your screen.

Looking closely... there is some banding when viewing larger.
That's almost certainly due to JPEG compression though.
If in doubt... drop box your finished full res edited TIFF (you are saving your finished, archived work in TIFF aren't you?) and I'll take a look - I have a full 10bit workflow here.
