I have been given an old picture that i would like to give a freshen up. It is in a bit of a mess where it has been torn at some points, folded in others and a few crease marks from the folds.

I was wanting to know if this is fixable through software and if so which one.

I have scanned the pic but it still looks a mess. It is about 13 years old and has memories for me so i would like to fix it.

If there is no such way what about a company that might help does anybody know of one.

Thanks, Kev.

Show us the scan and I'm sure someone here will be able to point you in the right direction. Really depends on how bad it is.

A lot of even high street labs offer photo renovation services...not sure what the feeling on here is about the, and I can't comment as I've no experience of them  Image editing software have differnent tools for fixing pictures, and some of the free ones have extensive features for this. One such free one if the GIMP (A quick google will find that for you) and it's pretty good, and not too difficult to find tutorials online for.

com on then lets see it!!!

upload it to a site, perhaps (photobucket) then click to full size image, then when posting click on the mountain icon copy and paste url.

cheers, will give ago later today

That's going to take some fixing. There's not a lot of good image to work with.

Had a play. Thought it was best to just repair the rips and stains, but left it otherwise as was. That's the way you remember it anyway right? :)
