Heron close up!

Driving through a little village today, I saw this Heron in the little stream at the side of the road.
It was not at all shy and didn't move at all when we reversed so I was literally 3 feet away from it!

Just a shame it was so overcast today, so the quality is pretty poor.
I would have loved to have been able to get something a bit cleaner, oh well

Hey mate! Sorry to tell you, but there is a Heron down stream nicking all the fish! I doubt you'll catch much

It's amazing what you can get away with from a car - almost as good as a hide. Great shots but that 2nd one is a corker.

I don't know about the quality being poor they look pretty good to me. I'm with CT the second is the best.

They look good to me too, maybe a tad over cooked but otherwise fine. Nice set,two for me as well.
