Yep that's a well captured image, showing all detail and perfectly exposed and processed

It also show the difference quality glass makes, especially in the fine detail and rendering, just adds that little "extra" making all the effort more worthwhile

Amazing shot , so sharp and timed to perfection. Any time I try to get them I just end up with the feet :)

Well taken.My Olympus em1 is useless for birds in flight shots thinking if getting a setup like yours for bif/sports shots.
 
Top shot. A great lens is that 500 f4. Canon £7000 and Nikon almost £6000 these days..Ugh.

Excellent BF shot, gramps....I like the wing position and it is sharp from beak to claw.
