Herons in my lunch hour

Been spending my lunch hours in the hotel grounds of the Chateau Impney at Droitwich trying to get closer to the Herons there who are very wild and wary.

I was busy trying to get a shot of one on the bank when these 3 flew in. They look like young birds as have more grey than white on them.

Not quite sure what im doing wrong here if i put the sides longer than 500 it tells me the file is too big
