Shots taken today at RSPB Old Moor, not many waders around, Herons taken from one of the hides and the juvenile Goldfinch taken on the Feeding Station area.

Comments most welcome.

3. Juvenile Goldfinch - I think this shot looks a little out of focus.

Nice clear, crisp shots. #2 with him poking his tongue out at you....LOL.

These bloody youngsters have got no manners, should show some respect....sorry sounding like Victor Meldrew.
 
Gordon it appears that the light was not at it's best for you, the two Heron shots are very good, crisp and well composed, the young Goldie is either a hefty crop or slightly out of focus.

Thank you Martin, yes the shot of the Juvenile Goldfinch was taken from a viewing hide adjacent to the center which is pretty much in shadow, it has been cropped and I also agree with it being slightly out of focus. Thank you for your comments
