Looking to buy one, just one question if anyone knows:

Will it fit on a redsnapper tripod WITH the plate on?

As it says it fits over manfrotto ones etc..

Ordered mine on 14 April, delivered today (24 April) - here's hoping :thumbs:

Doubt you'll be disappointed when you do get it - very well made. The type 1 plate is supposedly Arca Swiss and Manfrotto RC1 compatible - not sure if that'll work with your current tripod. However, there's a thread in the base of the brass locking screw which should allow you to mount to another mounting plate.
