Does anyone know any places I can go in hertfordshire to take pictures of wild birds? As close to baldock as possible

Yea never really thought about going that way been Norton comin but it was telly quiet every time I went will have to give it ago

I was going to suggest there when I read op too, great little place for birds and wildlife.

Rspb in sandy also.. Not too far from baldock!

Just make sure you go on a cold/cool day - the nearby sewage works can really really honk on a warm day (I used to cycle thru it twice a day to go to work)

If you want to photograph Swans, Ducks Geese, Stanborough lakes is ideal, you can get really close to them, especially if it looks like you have something for them to eat.
Its next to the A1 in Welwyn Garden City, a straight trip down the motorway for you.

Weston. Woods is on my door step I pretty much live up there LOL and not heard of paxton pits been alesey pits can't spell sorry LOL
